Michael Heard

Michael acts in complex commercial cases at all levels of the New Zealand Court system and in arbitrations. He is known for his ability to manage large and complex litigation, and acts in the largest cases presently before the New Zealand High Court.  

Michael has acted on numerous matters involving urgent interim relief, including obtaining search and freezing orders in a range of intellectual property and privacy cases.

His practice includes product liability and construction matters, trust disputes, shareholder disputes, and general contract and commercial disputes in the district and High Courts. He has particular expertise in insolvency and maritime disputes.
